Rocky Point Engineering is Growing!, November 1 2011

Rocky Point Engineering has been successfully growing for the past 15 years with unmatched dedication to client service. With the focus on offering local service throughout the province, Rocky Point Engineering is pleased to announce that it has recently acquired Reevolution Consulting. This acquisition allows Rocky Point Engineering to have a significant presence in the Okanagan. Furthermore, the Reevolution acquisition also includes a Nelson office which now makes Rocky Point Engineering the only Mechanical Engineering Consulting firm with a presence in the West Kootenays.

Reevolution Consulting is a 6 person operation with a focus on green building and sustainable construction. The firm was founded by Emmanuel Lavoie, P.Eng. LEED AP in the fall of 2008 and has grown rapidly over the past few years. Emmanuel is very involved within the green building movement through his professional work and as a Board member of the Cascadia Green Building Council. "Combining forces offered a greater level of technical expertise and manpower to our clients and I am speaking for myself and my staff when I say we are delighted to be joining a firm with a reputation such as Rocky Point Engineering" says Emmanuel. This acquisition also brings Mark Harold P.Eng., Scott Ghomeshi EIT, Sean Good AScT, Lance Carroll AScT and Neila Morrison to the Rocky Point team.

The new Okanagan office of Rocky Point Engineering is poised for success and will actively be pursuing a variety of public, institutional and private sector projects in the near future.
