DILIGENCE OF FACILITY REVIEW

Whenever we are engaged for a mechanical renovation project, it is our company philosophy to carry out numerous on-site reviews of the facility. We strongly believe this is fundamental to a successfully designed system. The resulting level of coordination we attain from our site investigations invariably leads to minimal contractual changes during construction. l;akldaflsfaj

PROJECT BUDGETING

We have a consistent history of providing accurate budgeting of mechanical projects, to assist building owners in determining the capital requirements of their projects. This is particularly relevant to K-12 educational facilities, where we have catalogued budgets for eighty British Columbia schools. In the cases where these projects have proceeded through design and implementation these forecasts have proven extremely accurate.

Rocky Point Engineering specializes in mechanical retrofit projects, and as such has provided prime consulting services for many clients. We believe our level of organization and contract administration is of great value to our customers, enabling their projects to complete in a timely, coordinated manner.

Over the past year Rocky Point Engineering has taken a pro-active approach to mechanical systems commissioning by actually providing the commissioning service required to ensure correct operation of installations at the completion of projects. Too often in the past the Owner, the Mechanical Contractor and ourselves end up spending time chasing operating problems after systems are put into service.

In response to this we now offer the opportunity to retain our in-house company, Rocky Point Mechanical Commissioning, to coordinate the systems verification process, both as the installation progresses and at the time of total completion and turnover.

Rocky Point Mechanical Commissioning does not compete for commissioning contracts on the open market, but simply provides commissioning expertise on our projects when our clients wish to take advantage. This strategy allows for much tighter control of the verification process and a level of confidence the systems will operate as desired when turned over to the end user.
